limit-Less.

Imagine a life that is LIMITLESS.
No limits at all. To what you can do, to where you can go and what you can eat and how u dress or how u DON’T.
Ours is a life that is involved in putting as much effort in our day-to-day activities and responsibilities. We can and never should run away from them. Responsibilities and Routine is what gives our lives meaning. They are what hold us to the ground and gives our lives a sense of rhythm, and surety. It helps us to not feel chaotic and meaningless. Nomadic. It gives us a sense of belonging.
But sometimes it limits us. Actually mostly it limits us. We look around and find ourselves viewing our lives as a seamless list of endless responsibilities and routine. We get to work and come back home with a mind full of To-Dos. And we let time elapse and overlap with things that give us joy .
Imagine everything that you could do, if you woke up an hour earlier than usual before work. Could you have cycled/ or just gone for a run? Or maybe just read a book or wrote something down? Would it have made your life more rounded? Would you have felt more fulfilled? Would the day seem more gratifying? I think my answer is yes. It would. There would be a colour that I would have added to my Lifes canvas. And It would look beautiful at the end of the day when I finished my painting
Get up and RUN. Every morning or every evening; whatever suits you.
Be happy because NOONE is allowed to steal that happiness away from you.
Fill your life with habits that will make you more productive, those that will help you improve your life.
Im going to do something here.
Im going to Get up everyday and walk. Walk/Run for awhile and feel limitless. And I am going to write.

How are you going to get Limitless?

Creating Your Life

Can I ask u do  small exercise? Think of that one activity or hobby that u like doing. Anything that you truly enjoy doing. Maybe you don’t do that right now. Maybe u did that in childhood. Maybe u painted with oil pastels or played a musical instrument. Maybe you used to hum to that favorite song and sang in the bathroom and actually thought you have budding talent  to sing. Maybe all that you did was fly kites perfectly well. Maybe you were good at building sand castles. Maybe you played  a sport well. Maybe you wrote well or danced well. Anything that comes to your mind that u truly enjoyed now or then.
And now think of this. What you have created, what you’ve played, written, sang or painted. The depth with which you read the books you read or the feeling with which u read it was very different from anyone else on this planet. How u do what u do, is something  that can be NEVER repeated in the same spirit, same emotion and same importance by ANYONE else in the world.
My Painting: In one of my private moments.
Creating something material or abstract, is lending a part of you to the universe or work u created. U are the unique ingredient that no one else can offer. And there is a flavor that ONLY you can add. Did you ever realize that? How long has it been since you’ve experienced the feeling that you’ve done something really worthwhile for the world or for yourself?. How long has it been since u felt u were special? If its been a while, go ahead and make something, create something u enjoy doing. Share it with people who care about you. Don’t worry if it was not good enough. Don’t worry if its not a masterpiece.

Noone thinks their work is a masterpiece, Credits and applauses by others make it one. Masterpieces are subjective and they have as much value as you will allow it to have. You’re not doing these things everyday to earn the praises of the same world that can rebuke you. You’re doing this to know the joy you feel when you are with yourself, u’re enjoying you being YOU. Ask a dancer how she feels while the music plays and she dances like no one’s watching. At that moment the only thing that exists for her, is her body tapping, swaying, stretching, swirling to the rhythm that she feels. And her soul that’s as happy or as sad as the music in her ears and the words of the singer. Being present and being one with the universe. Nothing matters, you’re THAT involved. You’re THAT happy.
For those whom this sounds abstract, DON’T listen to me. Maybe there is some other way to commune with yourself, and you should definitely find one.  But please search for what helps you to find that path. And when you do find one, pls share that with me. Share what you felt and share how it changed your life.
The above , as simple as it sounds, is quite difficult to do; like most simple things in life are. For me,  it is writing about the simple truths in life. My truths. And you might not agree. And that’s what makes this world such an exciting place to live in. We are but ONE in our differences, I heard somebody say.
Go ahead and create something. Becos no one else can create what you will.
Enjoy yourself. Enjoy your body. Run and play. Pant and tire itself out. Drink as much as you can handle. Sometimes more than you can handle. Stretch. Sing and exercise your vocal chords. Enjoy your mind. Try to make sense of things that are too complicated. Solve a puzzle. Make up a joke. Enjoy your emotions. Be Jealous like crazy. Be loving like an artists loves his paper and pen, or his paints. Be cranky and cry like a baby. Sound silly. Enjoy nature. Sing like the birds in the forest and run like the animals in the wild. And Love your spirit. Make Something, create something. Draw. Act. Sing. Dance. And yes you’ve finally arrived.’

A little chill runs down my spine
My fingers touch you and i lose you
Swallowing air, and i feel breatheless
is it the breeze or did you just whisper?

Ive looked around and im still searching
Why do you hide? you'll need to find me now
Have i run away from you? Why dint you hold me back

They say Love is in the spaces between words
In the moment when you are lying naked with your conscience
and the sky above pictures your dreams
and the world seems complete, pieces by pieces, put together
careful, slowly, naturally, by my eyes and yours

Hundreds of years have passed between us
Souls and lives we've planted and loved.
But our love stays, Still and Still transient, gets deeper and higher as we go on

We are like a young child flying his first Kite
Im as rooted  as higher up you go
Im flying and free just as closer to the ground you are with your dreams
Your altitude lends meaning to my depth
We're free and yet anchored to this thing called Love.

So quit the Hide and Seek
Because there's no seeking, when there's no hiding
The blank space wants us to define it
Lose yourself . To me.

First Post- Parable of Talents

The Parable of Talents is on my mind from the time ive read it in the Bible. Post reading it, it made perfect sense why every person has a distinctive capability and a distinctive gift that cannot be matched with anyone else in the world. Every person, hence, has an ability to contribute through the gifts they have received. This feeling of contribution soothes the soul and satisfies the heart with a sense of worthiness we feel because we 'gave'. It also provides us with an opportunity to excel at something we love and truly understand the human need to make progress and achieve what we dream of.

In other words, the reason i even decided to write this blog ( not that i think im a great writer, i really dont) is because of this Parable.

So the first post must be My Inspiration and here it is. I hope to always remember why i started this blog and push my self to fight the resistances of a tired mind and a tired body as i go along to write, in the hope of making a difference to change the world.

The Parable of the Talents
Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them.  To one he gave five talents of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability.  Then he went on his journey.  The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more.  So also, the one with the two talents gained two more.  But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.
After a long time, the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.  The man who had received the five talents brought the other five.  “Master,” he said, “you entrusted me with five talents.  See, I have gained five more.”
His master replied, “Well done, good and faithful servant!  You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.  Come and share your master’s happiness!”
The man with the two talents also came.  “Master,” he said, “you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.”
His master replied, “Well done, good and faithful servant!  You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.  Come and share your master’s happiness!”
Then the man who had received the one talent came.  “Master,” he said, “I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.  So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground.  See, here is what belongs to you.”
His master replied, “You wicked, lazy servant!  So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed?  Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.
“Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents.  For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance.  Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.  And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
- Matthew 25:14-30 (NIV)
